French Bluebells
2018Beginning of summer 2018 I took a trip to France and of course after short stay there I came back loaded with inspiration. I still have plenty visual memories to inspire me for a long time but one of the most unexpected was these quick changing pictures of blue patches on the fields along the road. They come and go from a certain angle as the road go up and down. Beautiful bluebell flowers, millions of them connecting the sky and the fields and creating this symbiosis of a new dimension were the horizon is melted into the blues and greens.

2021It‘s summer again! The hottest of the four seasons. On the summer solstice, we can finally enjoy the earliest sunrise and latest sunset, the days are longest and the nights are shortest. The colour schemes tend to be more bright and more diverse. We all wear more patterned clothes. Vibrant pinks, blues, greens and reds – these colours evoke a sense of joy and celebration. This paintings was painted in Bulgaria during short visit there. A large canvas framed in simply made framing painted to continue the colours of the painting. The depth of the framing is 4,5 cm. The width of the framing is 7 mm.

An emotional state, the quality of a calm experienced in places with mainly natural features and activities, free from disturbance from man-made areas.... A feeling that we have while looking at gentle colour fusion.Blue has tremendous power to manage stress. It's a very soothing colour that helps calm your mind.Green is a restful and quiet colour. Because it symbolizes nature, green is one of the most beautiful and comforting colours that attracts harmonious feelings that can diffuse anxiety and helps us stay calm and refreshed. Beige greens and pale yellow-greens are the most stress-reducing shades in the green family. Pink is another colour that promotes tranquillity and peace. It's peacefulness promotes balance of your energies.

2021Snow is not a common sight in the Netherlands – winter rarely falls below freezing and any snow that does fall melts long before it can pile up on the ground. This year, it has snowed, in February, and these days ware full of joy. Although spring temperatures have already climbed above 20ºCelsius, in April we saw a rare snowfall, which resulted in the unique occurrence of snow falling amongst delicate Blossoms. Unfortunately, this scene did not last for very long but it left stunning visual memories and it has been inspiration for many of us.

Soft evening light or dusk sending the day away, a period where resilience has been required for a successful outcome. As a result of a peaceful moment a tranquil composition was born to restore the feelings and fill up the space with positive emotions.

The colours of the blooming lilies, the leaves and the sparkling water reflecting the summer sun. This painting is inspired by travelling through Flanders, seeing the fields of poppies and a most inspiring poem by John McCrae " In Flanders Fields"
The painting is made with layers of contrasting reds including carmine, magenta, terracotta, orange, metallic copper and azure blues and purple. The metallic copper paint cause an almost shimmering effect like a light breeze coming through the poppies at sunset.

It was painted on a sunny warm day of the summer 2018. The idea of this colour combination came very spontaneously after several days of heat and bright sun.
Dust and scent of roses
2019This painting is inspired by the many roses in the Bulgarian rose valley situated in the central part of Bulgaria my country of origin. It is not only the shades of rose colours I am fascinate by, but also the irresistible scent of this valley covered with fresh blooming roses in May and June.
